Strangely, seeing the remains of the cannibal feast helped clear my mind. I now knew what i was up against. These savages had obviously been to my island many times before. Yet, after eighteen years, they had never seen me. I realised I could go another eighteen in the same way if I was careful. For the next two years, I stayed close to home and took few chances. Iwas always well armed with a musket, sword and two pistols. But i seldom fired my guns unless there was no other choice.

The next morning,at exactly 7.13am,a frightening cry cut through the silence of the house.David immediately jumped out of bed and ran into lily in the hallway;she had also hurried out of her room.They woke Josh up and then ran towards the direction voices coming from the parlor.They learnt that the library window had been broken during the night,and now the empress Veronica(Which is an authenic coin)was missing!The detectives quietly let themselves in the library and aproached the coin case.
